Janine is an experienced divorce and business mediator with over 30 years of experience. As a seasoned mediator and contract specialist. Janine has been assisting couples and businesses resolve disputes as a skilled neutral third party.
Janine has been assisting couples in resolving their issues in a compassionate yet impartial manner since 2010.
Although Janine is a non-attorney, her years of knowledge as a mediator have given her the ability to work with her clients in a positive forum, with momentum and focus on the issues at hand. have effectively assisted couples to reach agreements that fostered the mediation process in a respectful manner and have concluded with stipulations that were affable to the parties involved. Alan Krystal is an attorney who has been able to address legal issues from a variety of vantage points. As an arbitrator. litigator and former in-house corporate counsel, Alan is skilled in dealing hands-on with complicated matters requiring consideration of compliance, litigation, and business processes. Alan has been actively involved in the development and implementation of corporate compliance programs. He has conducted compliance training and has previously served as Chief Compliance Officer for a national corporation. Alan has also worked closely with Human Resource departments and corporate management on day-to-day operational issues as well as right-sizing, evaluation processes, and workplace training. He has also spearheaded corporate due diligence during financing, sales, and acquisition processes.
Since being admitted to practice in 1983, Alan has had a varied career encompassing several specialties including tort and civil litigation, corporate governance, real estate, family law and appellate practice. He has drafted and negotiated numerous customer contracts, employee and independent contractor agreements. In addition, Alan has served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association since 1999, hearing and deciding numerous uninsured and underinsured motorist claims. He has also served as a hearing officer for the NYS Office of Children and Family Services and Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, and an arbitrator in Suffolk County District Court. Alan also works as in-house counsel for several companies in Long Island.
